ABC: TV Shows & Live Sports App Reviews

I mainly use it for watching nightly news, would prefer a video podcast that I can watch whenever and whereve I desire. Ads are annoying. Five ads at each break, typically the same 5 ads in the same order played 5 times during each show, even a 30 minute show. No way to skip them. Works well for what it is, but if ads annoy you, watching shows on this app will drive you crazy.

I like the ability to watch the shows I like anytime, but I do believe there are more ads than there are one TV. They are the same ones over and over. That is when I get up and do something.

Picture fades from clear. This is a continuous issue both iPhone and iPad. Not sure if Apple issue or app but can be annoying.

Please fix, its showing a black screen quite a bit lately

Love this app so much it brings me the newest episodes of my FAVORITE show(Greys Anatomy) the day after it airs on TV which is great and its free! Definitely recommend

App doesnt work with chromecast. Major glitch prevents it from getting past the abc promo.

I love this you can watch all the shows that you missed and didnt even know about its bee a great time with abc and I love it and will continue to rate and watch more and more shows I didnt catch or I dont know about

I thought I was doing something wrong, but I see that others cant turn off the close captioning as well. Annoying!

This is a so-so app. Its not as buggy as it used to be, but there are way too many commercials-four or five at each break. It makes me appreciate the Comedy Central and Bravo apps that have a reasonable amount of commercials. There is no button to back up or go forward for 10 seconds or so like many other apps do. I am able to watch shows, though, which is why I have it.

I enjoy using the ABC. Ive never had a problem logging I or freezing. The commercials are way too repetitive, other than that it gets 4 stars.

There are so many ads, and they play far too frequently, that I feel I am watching commercials with the program thrown in rather than the other way around. Very annoying!!!

verify to watch is absurd. There are already commercials. Greedy, greedy, ABC!

The worst app out there. Wont let you play the show because the ads restart constantly. They really need to fix it.

Good to catch up on shows I missed. Glad for this app. Also, I buy everything advertised.

I started using this app when it first came out and it was fun. I could see shows I missed but I especially loved to see GMA. And I love it when it works!!But it acts up to much. I hate this code 503-2 nonsense. I missed GMA this morning. And really your app support is horrible. So I am not contacting them.

Ive tried again and again to get this app to cast to my Chromcast. It will not go any further than the first buffer page. Ive even left it on for upwards of 10 minutes. It isnt my connection, other apps work perfectly. This app is a waste of space. I can watch what I want on Hulu, and their app is pretty perfect.

Basically all the negative lists below are true and im losing my patience!! Soooo infuriating for such a capable network to accept such a terrible application!!! Shameful abc.

Ive spent nearly two hours trying to watch one episode... Not only are there unbelievable amount of ads but it keeps crashing. It makes it the list frustrating app to use. I had deleted it before and now I realize why.

When trying to watch on the Apple TV (4th gen), clicking on the episode to watch merely takes you back to the homepage for the show rather than playing the episode, so there is no way to actually play anything through this app.
